Gold Rates by Country

Table of Contents

Choose the Gold Market you Want to Compare

Start with the country connected to your purchase or valuation. Each page pairs the country’s dated reference with the calculator, daily history, weight table and local buying explanations. Use the currency code as well as the symbol: a dollar amount in Canada is a different currency from a dollar amount in the USA.

Find the Right Country Guide

India focuses on per-gram and per-10-gram prices, 22K and 24K, hallmarking and jewellery invoices. Pakistan gives special attention to tola, 10 grams and the difference between 24K, 22K and 21K quotations. USA explains the troy-ounce spot reference and product-level comparisons for bullion.

The Saudi Arabia and UAE guides help place riyal and dirham quotations alongside purity and invoice details. Canada and the UK cover their respective currency and product conventions. The euro pages for Germany, Italy and France share a currency while explaining distinct local transaction questions.

China addresses the difference between an international yuan reference and a named domestic market quotation. Japan explains retail buying and selling labels. Iran gives particular attention to rials, toman terminology and the currency basis of a comparison.

Compare the Same Gold Content Across Borders

Use one common weight and fineness before converting currencies. Then check the time of each quotation and whether it describes a metal reference or a complete product offer. Keep delivery, exchange costs and any relevant transaction charges in the final cost comparison. A converted spot reference alone does not calculate the cost of importing a coin or buying jewellery abroad.

If you already have two written offers, the quotation guide provides a practical way to compare them. Use the weight conversion guide when one is in grams and the other uses tola or troy ounces.
