Scope of the Website
This website provides gold-price reference information, calculations, historical charts and explanatory guides. It is not a gold dealer, broker, custodian, assay service or payment service. Using a tool does not place an order, reserve a price or create a gold holding.
The website name and any public operator information appear on About. Questions about the service can be submitted through the private contact form.
Prices and Transaction Decisions
A reference price applies to its stated source, currency, purity, unit and observation date. A quoted supplier offer applies to that supplier’s stated product and terms. A dealer may change an offer before a transaction is completed. The website does not guarantee availability, execution, a future price, a return or a particular resale amount.
Calculators estimate a metal value or compare figures entered by the visitor. They do not authenticate jewellery, establish gemstone values, determine a personal tax obligation or provide an individual investment recommendation. A purchase or sale depends on the actual item, seller or buyer, accepted weight, verified purity and agreed complete amount.
Dates, Calculations and Historical Records
Market observation time and the website’s successful check time are separate. If a new accepted source record is unavailable, an older observation retains its original date and status. A refresh cannot turn it into a newly observed price.
Daily references, stored market snapshots and monthly averages use their stated frequencies and source definitions. They should not be combined into an unexplained continuous series. Purity conversions and weight factors are described in Sources and Methodology. Worked examples in articles are hypothetical unless expressly identified as sourced observations; they are not chart data.
Sources, Links and Reuse
Sources are identified to let readers inspect the basis of a figure or explanation. A citation, hallmark discussion or link to a public authority does not imply that the authority approves this website. External publishers control their own services and terms.
Downloaded datasets retain their accompanying source, unit, date and licence information. Follow the licence or reuse terms attached to each dataset; availability of a download does not transfer ownership of a source’s content or authorize unrestricted use of every linked publication. Preserve attribution when the applicable licence requires it.
Corrections and Responsible Use
Report a suspected error with enough detail to reproduce it. The operator can review source records and calculations before deciding what needs correction. Submission does not guarantee publication, a response within a particular time or automatic acceptance of a replacement price.
Use the contact form for relevant reports. Do not submit another person’s confidential information, unsolicited promotions, malicious content or repeated requests intended to disrupt the service. Reference sources, tools and explanatory material may change as information is corrected or the service develops. Read the displayed update and quotation dates for the page you use. Nothing in these information-use terms is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
