Using the Gold Tools
You can read rates and use the calculators without creating an account. The built-in calculator carries out weight, purity and offer comparisons in your browser. Your entered weights and comparison amounts are not sent to the price providers or saved as a personal portfolio by these tools. Requests for updated reference prices go to this website’s stored-data endpoint.
The theme’s built-in tools do not load advertising, analytics pixels or a third-party CAPTCHA. Optional services added to the website can have additional practices, described below when configured.
Page Appearance
The gold tools use a fixed light appearance. They do not save a light-or-dark display preference in your browser. A preference stored by an earlier theme version is no longer used by this version.
Private Corrections and Contact Reports
When you submit the contact form, this website stores the issue category, your explanation and the submission time. It also stores any optional reply email, page link, country, observation date, purity, weight or comparison link that you enter. No attachment or identity document is required.
Reports are stored in a nonpublic inbox accessible to site administrators. They are used to investigate the issue or privacy request and to record whether it has been reviewed. The form does not publish messages, send automatic emails, fetch the comparison links or forward reports to a gold-data supplier. If the operator uses your optional email to respond, that correspondence also passes through the relevant email services.
Reports become eligible for permanent deletion 30 days after submission. The active website’s scheduled cleanup removes expired records, and opening the administrator inbox also starts cleanup. The operator can delete a report sooner. Scheduled processing can be delayed if the hosting scheduler is not running; expired reports are excluded from the normal inbox listing. Server backups, where maintained, follow the host’s separate retention arrangements.
Submission Protection
The form uses a security token, an empty anti-spam field and short-lived counters to limit repeated submissions. The connection address is used to create a keyed hourly anti-abuse identifier; the address itself is not attached to your report by the form. These counters expire at the end of the relevant hour. No third-party verification service receives the form contents.
Price Data and Credit Links
Gold and currency reference requests are made by this website’s server. Following a link from Data Credits opens the original publisher’s website, which applies its own privacy practices. Downloading the locally stored daily or monthly data does not require a source-provider account.
The built-in daily and monthly charts use records stored by this website. Opening those charts does not load an external chart widget or require a data-provider account.
Website Delivery and Administration
Delivering pages and protecting a WordPress website involves connection information that the hosting or security service may log, such as request time, network address and requested URL. Administrative sign-in also uses WordPress authentication mechanisms. These operational records are separate from the corrections inbox and are not removed by the form’s 30-day cleanup.
Questions, Corrections or Deletion Requests
Use the contact form for a privacy question or to request correction or deletion of a report you submitted. Provide the approximate submission date and enough non-sensitive detail to locate it. Any verification should be proportionate to the request; do not include payment information or identity documents in the initial message. Publisher information appears on About.
