Gold rate today in Pakistan per tola: Rs. 429,500.00 for 24K, Rs. 393,708.33 for 22K and Rs. 375,812.50 for 21K. The quotation is dated . Compare gram and 10-gram amounts below, then calculate the price for your jewellery’s actual gold weight.
Today’s Gold Rate in Pakistan per Tola, Gram and 10 Grams
Use the same purity and weight when comparing a price. A 24K per-tola headline and a 21K per-gram jewellery offer describe different quantities of gold. The rate table above puts the main choices beside one another in Pakistani rupees.
The amounts follow the dated quotation shown above. For a custom quantity, select Pakistan and the matching karat in the gold calculator. A shop’s complete offer also identifies the product, workmanship and other invoice charges.
One Tola, 10 Grams and 12 Grams are Different Quantities
This page uses 1 tola = 11.6638038 grams, the conventional value described in the Competition Commission of Pakistan’s gold-market study. Ten grams is about 0.85735 tola. Twelve grams is about 2.88% heavier than this tola, so it needs its own calculation.
To convert a per-tola rate to a per-gram rate, divide by 11.6638038. To calculate 10 grams, multiply that per-gram result by ten. Retain the original precision until the final displayed amount; repeatedly converting rounded numbers can create avoidable differences.
The CCP study also reports a 12.5-gram usage in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Ask the seller to put the actual gram weight on the invoice wherever a local expression is used. The gold-weight guide helps compare a quoted tola with the scale measurement.
24K, 22K and 21K: Read the Gold Content
Karats describe the share of gold in an alloy using 24 parts. The nominal fractions are 22/24 for 22K and 21/24, or 87.5%, for 21K. An 18K alloy has a 75% nominal gold share. Lower-karat jewellery includes other metals, which are part of the alloy weight.
Apply purity once: multiply a 21K rate by the weight of the 21K gold alloy. Alternatively, calculate its fine-gold content and apply a pure-metal rate. A displayed calculated equivalent values the stated gold content; the product’s actual fineness and complete selling price come from its specification and offer.
For a bar described as 999 or 999.9, read that declared fineness with the bar’s weight. For jewellery, retain both the karat and any fineness marking on your record. The purity guide explains how these descriptions relate.
From the Sarafa Rate to a Jewellery Invoice
The CCP study describes international gold prices, the rupee exchange rate, domestic demand and supply, dealer margins and sarafa announcements as influences on Pakistan’s gold pricing. A market headline helps establish a comparison, while a jeweller’s invoice shows what a particular purchase costs.
Ask for these amounts together before comparing two offers:
Net gold-alloy weight: the gold component after separately identified stones, threads or other non-gold parts.
Purity and metal rate: the karat, rate per gram or tola, and quotation date.
Workmanship: a fixed amount, per-gram amount or percentage with its calculation base.
Other components and charges: stones, any wastage amount, and the stated tax treatment.
Total payable: the complete payment and the seller’s exchange or buyback terms.
For a wedding set, record each component’s weight and purity before accepting a package total. A making-charge discount needs to be assessed alongside the metal rate and the full amount. The gold-charge guide shows how different fee methods can be compared.
Selling Old Gold: Understand the Buying Rate and Kaat
Ask the buyer to state the accepted gold weight, assessed purity, buying rate and each deduction. If a deduction is described as kaat, have the shop show whether it reduces weight or money, what base it uses and how it affects the final payout. Agree the calculation before consenting to a sale or an assessment that could alter the item.
Hypothetical buyback example: an item weighs 12 grams, including 2 grams of separately identified non-gold material. The buyer accepts 10 grams of 21K alloy at an assumed PKR 35,000 per gram and quotes a 2% deduction from that metal amount.
Step
Calculation
Amount
Accepted 21K alloy weight
12 g − 2 g
10 g
Amount before the deduction
10 g × PKR 35,000
PKR 350,000
Assumed deduction
2% × PKR 350,000
PKR 7,000
Payout with no further charges
PKR 350,000 − PKR 7,000
PKR 343,000
The 2% is an example, not a standard deduction. The rate already matches 21K, so applying 21/24 again would understate the accepted metal amount. Compare the actual net offers from buyers, including their assessment method and any additional charges.
For purity-testing enquiries, PGJDC lists assaying and hallmarking centres in Karachi and Lahore. Confirm the centre’s current procedure, fee and handling of your item, and request a report identifying the article or sample. A price calculator cannot test an item’s purity.
Gold Rates in Karachi, Lahore and Other Pakistani Cities
Browse Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Gujranwala, Quetta and Sialkot to compare the dated reference with any available local offers. A country-level reference supplies shared context. A shop-specific figure applies to its identified product and terms.
For a meaningful city comparison, obtain the same weight and karat from the sellers you would use. Match the quotation dates, then compare workmanship and the full purchase or resale amount. Two shops can share a metal reference while quoting different complete prices.
When exchanging old jewellery, request the old-item credit and the new-item price separately. This makes an exchange bonus easier to assess against a cash sale followed by a separate purchase.
Yesterday’s Gold Rate, the Past Week and 30-Day Trends
Select the same purity and weight throughout the daily chart. Read yesterday’s dated row, then use the 7-day and 30-day views to compare the relevant records. A complete Monday-to-Sunday week and a rolling seven-day window need not cover identical dates, so check the endpoints of the displayed change.
The current Pakistan quotation and the daily currency-converted archive have different price bases. Compare a history row with other rows from that archive when reading its movement. For a change in a domestic sarafa quotation, compare domestic observations with matching units and terms.
The gold-chart guide explains daily observations and monthly averages. The long-term gold archive adds an international USD monthly view. Historical changes do not establish a price that a seller will offer tomorrow.
Compare Pakistan with Dubai and Saudi Arabia
Use the UAE gold page for AED comparisons and the Saudi Arabia gold page for SAR, including 21K. Convert each offer to the same currency using the exchange rate available for the intended payment, then match the gold weight and fineness.
Compare the complete cost of equivalent products, including workmanship and any costs relevant to obtaining them. A difference between two countries’ reference figures by itself does not establish a saving on a particular purchase.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 24K Gold Rate in Pakistan Today per Tola?
The displayed 24K rate is Rs. 429,500.00 per tola, dated . Use the same quotation date, purity and gram weight when comparing it with a shop’s offer.
What is Today’s 22K Gold Rate per Tola?
The 22K amount is Rs. 393,708.33 per tola. A finished jewellery price also depends on its actual net gold-alloy weight, workmanship and other charges stated on the invoice.
What is the 21K Gold Rate in Pakistan per Tola?
The displayed 21K amount is Rs. 375,812.50 per tola. The nominal gold fraction of 21K is 87.5%. When using a 21K rate, multiply by the gold-alloy weight without applying that fraction a second time.
How Much is One Gram of Gold in Pakistan?
The current 24K gram reference is Rs. 36,823.33, and the 22K gram amount is Rs. 33,754.71. Select the purity matching the item you want to value.
What is the Gold Rate for 10 Grams?
The displayed 24K amount for 10 grams is Rs. 368,233.34. For 22K, it is Rs. 337,547.11. Ten grams and one tola are different quantities.
How Many Grams are in One Tola?
This calculator uses 11.6638038 grams per tola. Divide a per-tola amount by that number to obtain its per-gram equivalent. Keep the seller’s actual gram weight on the invoice when a local convention is used.
Is One Tola Equal to 12 Grams?
No. Under this page’s convention, 12 grams is about 2.88% heavier than one tola. Enter 12 grams as a custom gram quantity and use the matching purity. Do not substitute a tola price for a 12-gram purchase.
How do I Convert a 10-Gram Rate into a Tola Rate?
Multiply the 10-gram amount by 11.6638038 ÷ 10. Match the purity and date first, and round only at the end. Independently rounded published columns can show a small difference from that calculation.
What do 875 and 916 Mean on Gold Jewellery?
875 denotes 87.5% gold, matching the nominal 21K fraction. A 916 mark declares 91.6% gold and is commonly associated with 22K. Read the product’s stated fineness when making a precise comparison; a nominal karat ratio can differ slightly from its declared specification.
Who Announces Pakistan’s Sarafa Gold Rates?
The Competition Commission’s market study identifies the Karachi Sarafa association as an unofficial body announcing daily rates. A market announcement is not government verification of this website or a guarantee of every jeweller’s selling price.
Why can the PKR Gold Rate Change When Dollar Gold is Stable?
The rupee amount also depends on the exchange-rate input. More rupees per dollar can increase a converted gold value even if dollar gold is unchanged. A domestic offer can also reflect its own market and product terms.
Where can I Compare Yesterday’s Rate and the Previous Week?
Use the dated Pakistan daily-history rows and the 7-day view with the same purity and weight. Compare records within that series. The current domestic quote and a currency-converted archive should not be subtracted as though they were consecutive domestic observations.
Are Karachi, Lahore and Multan Gold Prices Always Different?
A country reference can be shared across cities. Actual shop offers depend on the seller, product, time and charges. Compare complete dated quotations instead of assuming a city name requires a fixed price difference.
What should Making Charges Show on a Gold Invoice?
Ask whether the charge is fixed, per gram or a percentage, and which weight or amount it uses. Include it in the complete total with stones and other itemised charges before comparing a discount or another jeweller’s offer.
How do I Check a Kaat Deduction When Selling Gold?
Have the buyer write the accepted weight, purity, buying rate, deduction base and final payout. Clarify whether the deduction is in grams or rupees. Compare the net offer; the hypothetical percentage in our example is not a universal or mandatory rate.
Can I Use a Wedding Set’s Gross Weight in the Calculator?
Use its net gold-alloy weight at the matching karat. Gross weight can include stones, thread, enamel or other non-gold components. Ask for those components and their prices to be identified separately.
Where can I Ask for Gold Purity Testing in Pakistan?
PGJDC lists assaying and hallmarking centres in Karachi and Lahore. Confirm the current service, procedure and fee directly. Ask whether the test changes the item and request a report identifying what was tested.
Does an Exchange Bonus Always Give a Better Deal?
Compare the old-item credit, new-item price and all conditions separately. A larger exchange credit can accompany a higher new-item price. Compare the final payment with a cash sale and an independent purchase.
How do I Compare Pakistan’s 21K Rate with Saudi Arabia or Dubai?
Match 21K and the actual gram weight, convert both offers at a consistent payment rate, and include their complete charges. Use the Saudi Arabia and UAE pages for the corresponding currency references.
Will the 30-Day Gold Chart Tell Me Tomorrow’s Price?
It records the selected historical series; it cannot guarantee the next quotation. For a transaction, obtain a current written offer and ask how long it remains valid. Use past changes to understand the recorded movement, not as a promised future rate.
